FM-1 Wildcat USS Guadalcanal
The FM-1 was the new designation for the F4F-1 when General Motors’ Eastern
Aircraft Division took over production in 1942. Popularly known as the Wildcat,
this was the plane that made history in the Pacific Theater as the number one
nemesis to Japan’s notorious Zero. Solidly constructed and equipped with heavy
armament, the carrier-launched Wildcat maintained the upper hand over the
otherwise quicker and easily maneuverable Zero throughout hostilities. This
superbly engineered re-creation captures every feature of the legendary Wildcat,
from the cockpit layout to the landing gear and authentic military markings.

FM-1 Wildcat Martlet V (F4F)
The resourceful Martlet was the RAF version of the American Wildcat. A favorite
of RAF pilots throughout the War, it was designed specifically for use as a
carrier fighter—a vast improvement over its predecessors, which were modified
fighters. This superb model captures every detail of an actual RAF Martlet that
flew in the Mediterranean in 1942.

DC-3 Ozark Airlines With a range of more than 1,000 miles,
the DC-3 revolutionized air transport and carrier service in the 1940s and
1950s. Large commercial airlines ordered the prop-driven craft in large numbers.
The small but highly regarded regional operation, Ozark Airlines began service
in 1950 with a fleet of four DC-3s. Ozark’s bright green livery distinguishes
this superb 1:48 model, accurate to the smallest detail.

B-24J Liberator First Assembly Ship Spottet APE
- U.S.A.A.F.
- First assembly ship
- 458 BG
- Horsham St. Faith 1944
In World War II, the assembly ship was the plane other
aircraft formed their formations around. So that they could be easily recognized
by the other aircraft, assembly ships were painted bright, at times gaudy,
colors like the B-24J Liberator re-created in this spectacular model. Captured
to perfection in 1:48 scale, this thoroughly detailed model is hand-painted in
the highly distinctive paint scheme used by the U.S.A.A.F. 458th Bomber Group.
Approximately 16 3/4" (42.6 cm) in length. Wingspan

Mosquito T.111 Yellow Trainer
Originally conceived as an unarmed high-altitude bomber, the Mosquito evolved
into one of the most versatile planes of World War II. Some 8,000 were built for
wartime service. As the War progressed, the Mosquito was flown as a fighter
bomber, recon craft, transport plane and night fighter. This spectacular model
is rich with authentic detail, capturing every feature of the RAF stalwart.

P-40 Warhawk "Sawtooth Apache"
Lean and mean, the P-40L Warhawk was a stripped-down version of the P-40F. Flown
by the famous “Checkerboard Clan,” it performed admirably, first in North
Africa, then in Italy. Now, the legend is back in the form of this superbly
engineered model from The Franklin Mint Armour Collection. Every detail is
re-created to stand up to the closest inspection. We’ve even matched the
camouflaged paint scheme and military markings.

One of the many U.S. units operating out of England during WWII, the 398th
Bombardment Group wrote one of the most impressive chapters of the war. Flying
the legendary B-17 Flying Fortress, the courageous pilots and crews attached to
the 398th attacked strategic targets throughout Germany and were instrumental to
the success of the D-Day invasion in June 1944. This precision model of the
“Shady Lady” is the perfect tribute to all the brave Allied airmen of the Second
World War. Every detail—from each of the four engines to the bubble turret on

F-86 SABRE Operation Boomerang
The first swept-wing aircraft in the U.S. fighter inventory, the F-86 Sabre
entered service in 1949. The plane’s bubble canopy provided pilots an excellent
field of vision, and its 600-mile combat radius and service ceiling of over
45,000 feet established the Sabre as a formidable presence during the Korean
War. Renowned for its longevity, the Sabre remained in service until 1993,
possibly a record for any combat aircraft. Capturing every detail of an actual

F-104 Starfighter NASA Research
It was a match made in — and for — the heavens. Rarely has an aircraft been more
aptly named than the Starfighter. Developed in the mid-1950s for the U.S. Air
Force as a high-speed fighter/interceptor, it won favor with a number of NATO
powers. Then, within two years following its introduction, NASA enlisted it as a
research craft. It proved so durable and reliable that it remained in service
for 38 years before being retired in 1994. Re-creating every exciting detail of
an actual Starfighter, down to the official NASA markings, this superb 1:48
scale model has passed muster and is ready to make its presence felt in your

Spirtfire Seafire Torch Operation
A modified version of the legendary Spitfire, the Seafire was developed
especially for the Royal Navy as a carrier-based fighter. Characterized by a
universal wing which could accommodate all foreseeable types of armament, the
Seafire was fitted with rockets for assisted take-offs. This model is patterned
after an actual Seafire that took part in the North African campaign of 1942.
Bearing official Royal Navy markings, it is authentic down to the smallest
detail.
