1957 Elvis'® Harley-Davidson® Model KH |
|
|
|
Even early in his career, Elvis® revealed a
passion for motorcycles. By 1956, when he released his first
record to reach number one, The Enthusiast®, the magazine
for motorcyclists, featured a cover story on the young
phenomenon, showing him seated on a Harley-Davidson®
motorcycle. Indeed, Harley-Davidson® seemed to understand
the limitless potential of this young entertainer from the
start and graciously sent him off with a chrome-plated
blessing that read "Good luck for your future, Elvis®." Not
surprisingly, Elvis® would continue his love affair with
motorcycles (in addition to his fondness for collecting
automobiles) and in many ways they became closely linked
with his early image.
Now, in an extraordinary tribute jointly authorized by the
Harley-Davidson Motor Company and Graceland®, the
spectacular motorcycle from the legendary Enthusiast®
magazine cover comes to life in a magnificent re-creation.
Hand-assembled from more than 130 separate components, this
one-of-a-kind die-cast replica is available exclusively from
Franklin Mint Precision Models and authorized
Harley-Davidson® dealers. Crafted with care in meticulous
detail - from the powerful 883cc engine to the stylized gas
tank - this impressive 1:10 scale model is a fitting salute
to the Harley-Davidson® Model KH motorcycle, as well as a
wonderful homage to the undisputed King of Rock and Roll®.
Born in Tupelo, Mississippi on January 8, 1935, Elvis
Presley® burst onto the scene in the mid-1950s to become one
of the most influential figures in popular culture. As the
undisputed King of Rock and Roll®, he changed the course of
contemporary music and electrified audiences with his
hard-driving performances, boundless talent, and energy.
In a career that spanned more than 20 years, Elvis Presley®
sold over a billion records, more than anyone else in the
history of the recording industry. He attracted followers
from rock ’n roll, country and western and rhythm and blues.
His unique manner of performing made him an idol who is
admired and revered to this day.
Each year, as testimony to the legendary performer, Elvis’®
Graceland® estate is visited by legions of adoring fans from
all over the world. The memory of Elvis Presley® lives on,
and he is forever in the hearts of his fans. For the
teenagers of the ’50s, Elvis Presley® represented a glimpse
of rebellion and a promise of independence. No performer had
such a dramatic impact on his audience. Countless women
screamed with delight or fell weak to his charms, overcome
with sheer emotion, and men rushed to copy his brash, tough
and flashy attitude.
In the course of his phenomenal career, Elvis® spent more
weeks (80) at the top of the charts than any other artist.
He had the most Top 10 singles (40), the most charted
singles (149) and made 33 popular films. For all his years
of fame and success, some of his fans still choose to
remember him as a 21-year-old radio star, fully clad in
black leather and straddling a motorcycle.

Honor the military motorcycle that
roared through war-torn Europe. Harley-Davidson® joined
the war effort and rolled over Europe with the powerful WLA
motorcycle. Fast and durable, this solid motorcycle carried
Allied soldiers on countless campaigns. Now, the legend
returns in a precision-engineered model so exact you can
almost hear the roar of its V-Twin® engine. Assembled by
hand from more than 150 parts and packed with details like
protective leg shields, foot boards, saddlebags and solo
windshield. Hand-painted in olive drab with authentic
military markings. A complete array of true-to-life
operating features such as brake and shift pedals, operable
steering and functional front suspension. Complete with
scale-sized submachine gun with removable ammo clip,
holster, ammo box, and cap and goggles. A fitting tribute to
a valiant warrior!
The most reliable motorcycle of World War II captured in a
spectacular replica, officially authorized by
Harley-Davidson®. Assembled and painted entirely by hand
this model has been re-created as a precision die-cast model
in 1:10 scale and is loaded with operating features and
equipped with scale-sized military gear. Honor the military
motorcycle that roared through war-torn Europe.
Even before the United States entered World War II,
Harley-Davidson® was building motorcycles to be used by the
Allies in the war effort, particularly after Germany had
crippled the British motorcycle industry. However, almost
immediately after the attack on Pearl Harbor and the U.S.
subsequent entry into the war, Harley-Davidson® was
dedicated to the war effort, producing motorcycles for
scouting and dispatch for both the U.S. and Allied forces.
During this time, Harley-Davidson® developed its WLA
military motorcycles (the "A" stands for Army) and by the
end of the war, more than 90,000 WLAs had been produced and
shipped. In addition, the company produced enough spare
parts to build an additional 30,000 motorcycles. Production
of the WLA, along with other military orders, kept the
Harley-Davidson® factory busy day and night and ultimately
earned the company the Army-Navy "E" Award for excellence in
wartime production.
The WLA Military Motorcycle featured a 45 cubic inch V-twin
engine that was based on the Harley-Davidson® 45 cubic inch
flathead engine. (There was another unique, horizontally
opposed, twin 45 cubic inch engine developed, the XA, to be
used in desert warfare, but only 1,000 models were produced
when that aspect of the war was ended.) The WLA, however,
was stronger than the civilian model - and certainly as
equally reliable. And it had to be, for the WLA saw service
from Normandy to China. And in one of the most memorable
moments of our time, it was the WLAs that were first on the
scene at the end of the war when Germany surrendered and the
POWs were liberated. Indeed, the Harley-Davidson® WLA
Military Motorcycle was truly one of the technological
heroes of World War II.
Now, the historic military motorcycle is re-created in an
exciting die-cast replica from Franklin Mint Precision
Models. Crafted in authentic detail - from the V-twin 45 cid
engine, solo windshield and leg shields to scale-size
military gear, including a submachine gun, ammo clip, cap
and goggles - the 1942 Harley-Davidson® WLA Military
Motorcycle is a fitting tribute to all those - abroad and at
home - who did so much for the cause of freedom. It is a
die-cast re-creation that you are certain to treasure for
many years to come.

The First Panhead - 1948 Harley-Davidson®
FL 1:10 |
|
|
|
It rocked the world in 1948. Now it will rock yours.
The first Panhead. The machine that established
Harley-Davidson as the premier post-war motorcycle
manufacturer. Recaptured in phenomenal detail. From the
"wishbone" tubular frame, to the rear fender mounted
saddlebags. As well as the chrome-plated rocker covers that
resembled upside-down cake pans, from which the nickname
Panhead was inspired. Complete with a seat upholstered in
real leather. And loaded with authentic operating features
that include operable springer-front suspension, and
kickstand, tank shifter and brake pedal that actually
pivots. Hand-painted in authentic Harley-Davidson® colors.
Presented by Franklin Mint Precision Models in association
with Harley-Davidson® on the 50th Anniversary of this
classic Harley-Davidson®, this definitive die-cast
re-creation of the legendary Panhead is assembled by hand
from more than 150 separate parts.
The first motorcycle engine with hydraulic lifters, the
Panhead engine replaced the legendary Knucklehead engine in
1948. Before the Panhead, all OHV motorcycle engines had
mechanically-actuated valves. The new hydraulic lifters were
designed to compensate for expansion, due to engine heating
and for inevitable valve-train wear while effectively
eliminating lash and noise.
In 1948, there was a variety of Panhead models to choose
from. Three versions were offered for each displacement
size. The 48FL bike had a 74 cubic inch solo twin engine
with 7:1 compression. The bikes came with a standard
four-speed engine, although a three-speed and a three-speed
with reverse were available options at no additional cost.
Aside from the hydraulic lifters, the Panhead also offered
new cylinder heads, which were completely redesigned from
the previous models. Harley-Davidson had seen the advantage
of aluminum construction, correctly believing that aluminum
would be cheap and plentiful following the war, and because
aluminum heads shed heat faster than iron.
The new motorcycles for 1948 were available in four
different colors: Azure Blue, Flight Red, Brilliant Black
and, for the Police Group only, Police Silver. Paint was
applied only after parts were first treated with a bonding
agent (“Bonderizing”) that also acted as a protection
against corrosion.
Now, the historic first Panhead, the 1948 Harley-Davidson®
FL, is re-created in a precision-engineered replica from
Franklin Mint Precision Models. The First Panhead: 1948 FL
is crafted in authentic detail and truly captures the
excitement of this magnificent motorcycle. It is certain to
be admired by all who see it.

2006 Harley-Davidson® Fat Boy® - 1:10 |
|
|
|
Fat is where it’s at! Classic Softail Styling...
Super-Sized! Feast your eyes on this big, bad boy! The 2006
Fat Boy® comes with a whole lot to love. Assembled by hand
from more than 100 individual parts, it sports the same
super-sized styling as the actual Harley® - tip-to-tail
chrome accents, precisely detailed re-creation of the mighty
Twin Cam 88B® engine. Painted by hand in Deep Cobalt Pearl,
even the plush seat has been meticulously contoured to the
lines of the real thing. Satisfy your appetite for Harley®
power and panache. Order this classic now!
In 1903, when Walter and Arthur Davidson and William Harley
built their first motorcycle, they could barely imagine the
international reputation that Harley-Davidson® would
ultimately achieve. The trio would produce two more
motorcycles the following year, eight in 1905, fifty in 1906
and 150 in 1907. Over a century has now gone by since that
original motorcycle was built, and in that time,
Harley-Davidson® has become the world's most renowned
motorcycle - and one of the most recognizable name brands in
the world today.
The company was always at the forefront of motorcycle design
and engineering innovation while continuing to maintain the
rugged reliability for which Harley-Davidson® motorcycles
were known. Over the past century Harley-Davidson® has
introduced some of the most influential motorcycles of our
time. This was evident in 1990, when the Harley-Davidson®
FLSTF™ Fat Boy® was first introduced. It was a
Limited-Edition bike that combined the classic lines of past
Harley-Davidson® motorcycles with the styling of its own
day. Harley-Davidson® has continued the legendary Softail
tradition with the introduction of the 2006 Fat Boy®.
First built in1984 the Harley-Davidson® Softail offered a
balanced blend of the classic rigid Hardtail look, with
hidden smooth riding modern suspension. This landmark family
of factory custom motorcycles has continued to be a favorite
right through to today. The 2006 Fat Boy® is a classic
example of Harley-Davidson® Softail tradition. Starting with
the signature look of a "Big Custom" bike with an aggressive
stance and a pleasing riding position. There is nothing lean
about the Fat Boy's power plant. The V-Twin, Twin Cam 88B
Rigid-mounted 1450 cc air-cooled engine offers 85 ft. lbs.
of torque @ 3000 rpm. Its 5 speed transmission and 29 degree
lean angle makes this Fat Boy® quick and nimble. Finished
off with just the right combination of premium custom
graphics, paint and chrome, the 2006 Harley Davidson® Fat
Boy® is a perfect blend of retro styling and modern
performance.

Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe FLSTN 1:10
Limited Edition 9'900 |

Looking for the perfect combination of
retro style and a bold, road-hugging power? Heavy on the
nostalgia, easy on the ride, this 2006 Harley-Davidson®
Sotail® Deluxe features all the appeal of the original -
from the flawless TC88B® motor to the vintage whitewall
tires.
For generations of motorcycle enthusiasts, Harley-Davidson®
bikes have been considered nothing less than rolling works
of art. Then in 2006, the Harley-Davidson® Softail® Deluxe
raised the bar to a whole new level for that most coveted of
distinctions, masterpiece. The 2006 Softail® Deluxe features
timeless hardtail styling with long barreled shotgun pipes,
pullback riser and handlebar, and long floorboards. The low
profile is especially characteristic of this bike, in fact,
the rider sits only 24 1/2 inches off the ground. The low
seat with its grab rail, the integrated luggage rack and
Tombstone taillight top off the low silhouette, making the
Softail® Deluxe look like nothing else to hit the road in
decades.
Note as well the clean front light bars with bullet turn
signals and the big retro-style speedometer, all mounted on
a wrinkle black and chrome covered Twin Cam 88B® engine,
available carbureted or with port fuel injection. Based on
the V2 Evolution™ engine, the Twin Cam 88B® has counter
rotating balancers in front of, and behind, the bottom end
flywheel assembly. The balancers, integrated within the
engine, dramatically improve the quality of the riding
experience on the hardtail mounted Softail® models. The 88B®
engine weighs 14 lbs. more than the 88, but the balancing
system is maintenance free for the life of the engine. The
ride is further smoothed out with a big fat rear tire under
a new wider fender and a hidden rear suspension, giving the
wheel a full 4 inches of travel.
Destined to become a classic, the 2006 Harley-Davidson®
Softail® Deluxe continues to provide the safe, comfortable,
smooth ride for which Harley-Davidson® bikes have long been
famous. Now, Franklin Mint Precision Models celebrates this
remarkable combination of style and engineering in this
faithfully recreated die-cast model. One you will be proud
to own and display in your collection for years to come.

1965 Harley Davidson Electra Glide w/Sidecar
1:10 |
|
|
|
A legend as soon as it hit the road, the
world-premiere Electra Glide® was powered by the last of the
Panhead engines. It was also the first Harley® with a
12-volt electric starter system, making full-body stomps on
the kick-start lever a thing of the past. Now, the smooth
ride continues with this awesome precision re-creation,
featuring every detail of the ultimate touring bike, right
down to the precise re-creation of that powerful OHV Panhead
engine, and gauge and instrument cluster on the fuel tank.
Complete with sidecar equipped with spare. Scale-sized
helmet included.
The 1965 Harley-Davidson® E-Glide® was a historic milestone
for Harley and would mark the end of an era. With the
Japanese invasion of motorcycles, Harley had to do something
to hold its market share against the innovation and ease of
riding that manufacturers like Honda and Yamaha would bring
to the table. They realized that they had to make riding
easier, more user friendly –– and the E-Glide® was born.
Easier it was…decades of kick starts had come to an end. The
E-Glide®, or Electra Glide®, introduced an all-new 12 volt
electric starter system. Exhausting and shin-braking
full-body stomps on the kick start lever would now be
replaced by the push of the thumb. The E-Glide® also
replaced the manual spark advance with an automatic one. The
electric start dictated other changes to the E-Glide®
platform, like deleting the tool box to allow for the larger
12 volt battery. Although the internal engine was the same,
a stronger casing and clutch were also needed for the new
starter system.
This would be the last year for the panhead engine, which
had powered the big bikes since 1949. The last panhead and
first electric start would insure solid collector status for
this ride. Franklin Mint Precision Models is pleased to
offer its 1:10 scale tribute to this motorcycling milestone
with sidecar.

1947 Harley-Davidson® Fire Chief
Servi-Car 1:10
Limited Edition 5'000 |
|
|
|
When the alarms sound in the fire station, response time is
the only thing that matters. Dispatching a fleet of vehicles
prepared for every emergency is no small task. And over the
years, it's no wonder that many fire departments put their
trust in Harley-Davidson® motorcycles and servi-cars to be
first on the scene!
Now, Franklin Mint Precision Models is proud to present the
1947 Harley-Davidson® Fire Chief Servi-Car in a spectacular
Limited Edition, precision die-cast replica. For collectors
and firefighting buffs, it's a 12-Alarmer! This awesome 1:10
scale model of the ever-reliable Harley-Davidson® servi-car
passes inspection with flying colors. Painted a brilliant
fire engine-red and hand assembled from over 200 separate
components, this authentic model is loaded with operating
features. From the precise re-creation of the flathead
V-Twin engine to the full complement of working features
that includes functional suspension, kickstand and
handlebars. Scale size accessories such as first aid kit and
chief's helmet make for a powerful tribute to firefighters
everywhere.
The original Harley-Davidson® Servi-Car made its appearance
in the early 1930s. The three-wheeled utility vehicle was
originally designed to be towed behind a newly purchased
automobile. Once the car was delivered, the Servi-Car would
be released and the dealer rep would ride the vehicle back
to the showroom. Soon, the Servi-Car was put to additional
uses that included the delivery of parts and roadside
assistance for disabled cars and trucks. Harley® advertising
of the era even touted the three-wheeler as perfect for
small deliveries by druggist, merchant and delivery
services.
It was not long, however, before law enforcement and fire
departments across the nation realized the advantages of the
motorized three-wheeler. When responding to a call, the fire
chief's vehicle of choice was the powerful and reliable
Servi-Car, which provided him access to places denied larger
vehicles.
As a firefighting vehicle, the Servi-Car provides valuable
lifesaving duties by speeding first aid supplies to
hard-to-access places and by affording a firefighter the
means to assess the severity of a given situation.
Packed with authentic detail, your precision model of the
1947 Harley-Davidson® Fire Chief Servi-Car features an exact
re-creation of Harley®'s 45-cubic-inch flathead V-Twin
engine. It is equipped with an array of scale-size
accessories you'd expect to find on an actual vehicle––an
axe, first aid kit and fire chief's hat.
Your 1947 Harley-Davidson® Fire Chief Servi-Car Limited
Edition is a powerful tribute to firefighters everywhere who
put it all on the line for the safety of others.

1966 Harley Davidson FLH Electra Glide
1:10 |
|
|
|
With the desires of its customers always
front & center, Harley® introduced the electric-start
version of its popular FL series in 1965. Now, you can own a
piece of Harley-Davidson® history by parking this classic in
your collection. Hand-assembled from over 125 separate parts,
every detail is flawlessly captured, from each "shovelhead"
cylinder head to the dual spotlights and fully instrumented
control console. Hand-painted a dramatic Hi Fi Blue.
By the mid-1960s, many a "Harley-Davidson" enthusiast was
clamoring for power...power...and more power.
Harley-Davidson responded with the introduction of a potent
new engine: one that delivered 10% more horsepower than the
recently retired Panhead. Officially designated FLH, the new
engine became affectionately known as the Shovelhead.
Like its predecessor, the Panhead, the descriptive nickname
was inspired by the distinctive shape of the valve covers
residing on top of the engine. As the power source for the
Electra Glide®, the air-cooled, 74ci V-Twin produced 60hp
and pampered riders with a smoother ride than the venerable
Panhead. However, the fore-and-aft position of the drum
brakes, a larger battery and starter produced a drag that
would persist until the early 1970s, with the welcomed
addition of disc brakes.
Speaking of the starter, the '66 version was basically the
same 12-volt electric-start introduced the pervious year,
which gave the Electra Glide® its name. Accessories included
an array of "all news," running the gamut from
Sportster-style carburetor, a new chrome solenoid cover, the
optional, newly shaped windshield and a fuel tank console
lavished with chrome trim.
For many, the Electra Glide®, gleaming in chrome as it moves
effortlessly down the highway, represents the ultimate
"Harley" experience--a match-made-in-heaven combination of
touring bike and rebel. Your precision model captures every
detail of this "Harley-Davidson" icon--from the flawlessly
detailed re-creation of the legendary Shovelhead engine to
the fully instrumented control console. Painted by hand in
dramatic Hi-Fi Blue, it will make its presence felt in any
collection.
Franklin Mint Precision Models is pleased to offer its 1:10
scale tribute to this motorcycling milestone, the 1966
Harley-Davidson® FLH Electra Glide®.

Harley Davidson Billy Bike 1:10 |
|
|
|
The customized Harley-Davidson® Panhead
ridden by Billy in the classic motion picture Easy Rider.™
The motorcycle that made freedom roar for an entire
generation. And this precision-engineered 1:10 scale replica
is the only model authorized by Harley-Davidson® based
directly on the replica of the original. Assembled by hand
to capture every astonishing feature. The fully detailed
engine is accurate right down to each spark plug wire. The
T-handlebars and sissy bar put you right on the rider's seat.
And it's packed with true-to-life operating features such as
kickstand, wheels that roll and brake and gear pedals that
actually pivot! Painted by hand in the authentic colors, and
yours complete with a scale size safari hat, just like the
one worn by Billy.
It was a little movie that became a box-office success, and
the roar of its Harley-Davidson® customized motorcycles
became the sound-track for a generation. Easy Rider™ was
issued in 1969 and became not only the ultimate motorcycle
movie, but something more. With a simple story that pitted
freedom versus conformity, likeable characters, hip music
and fantastic bikes, it gained a huge following and set off
the careers of many of its stars. A story of two friends on
an odyssey from California to New Orleans, the film was a
morality tale that struck a nerve with its audience.
While the customized rigid-framed Harley-Davidson® Panhead -
painted with the American flag and with a radically raked,
extended front end - and its rider were undoubtedly the
heroes of the film, the main character's sidekick, Billy,
and his customized bike, also won their share of fans.
Together with his friend, Billy rode into legend, ultimately
demonstrating that freedom does not come cheaply.
Basically, Billy's bike was a stock police bike. It had
stock Sportster® mufflers, a Mustang gas tank, and
customized MC headlight and exhaust pipes. Slung low on the
seat with his signature cowboy hat crowning his flowing
locks, Billy joyously rode the highways of America. He would
find, however, that his love of freedom and the open road
would antagonize him to many of the folks he encountered.
Undoubtedly, the film Easy Rider™ was a benchmark of its
time. And just as surely, the Harley-Davidson® motorcycles
seemed to define the customizing craze that was sweeping the
motorcycle world. In the annals of film, both Billy and his
partner achieved legendary status; in the history of
motorcycling, their bikes became instant classics.
Now the customized Harley-Davidson® that Billy rode -
certainly one of the most famous "choppers" in the world -
is brought to life in an extraordinary precision-engineered
replica from Franklin Mint Precision Models, The Billy Bike.
Crafted in authentic detail - from the extended front end to
the "Panhead" engine to the gas tank blazing in orange and
yellow flames to Billy's own hat - The Billy Bike captures
all the excitement and power of the original. It is a model
that captures the spirit of an era, and one that you will
treasure for years to come.

the very first Harley-Davidson® with a full array of
lifelike working features including operable steering, road
wheels and drive belt. A must-have display piece for the
Harley-Davidson® enthusiast!
You could say it was a bicycle powered by
a small 25 cubic-inch engine. Or you could say that it was
the one that started it all. In either case, even the
inventors of the first Harley-Davidson® motorcycle could not
have imagined that, 100 years later, their motorcycles would
be the most popular in the world. Or that, what they began
in a small, 10 x 15 foot structure located in the back of
William C. Davidson’s home, would become the birthplace of
the most innovative form of transportation that America had
ever seen. But that’s exactly what happened.
William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson.
Two young men who had an idea—a practical idea. The roads in
those days were more like paths than highways, and they felt
that a reliable, safe mode of transportation would be a bit
more efficient than horses and buggies! William S. Harley
and Arthur Davidson were childhood friends who were
fascinated by the bicycle fad and captivated by the
internal-combustion engine. With the help of Walter
Davidson, they challenged themselves and figured out how to
make a vehicle that was more than just a bicycle with an
engine, and by 1903 they had produced the first working
Harley-Davidson® motorcycle!
In 1907, the company was incorporated and
produced 150 motorcycles. By 1920, Harley-Davidson was the
largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. In the early
thirties, during the darkest times of the Great Depression,
Harley-Davidson took a major gamble by beginning development
of a totally new motorcycle model…one that resulted in
Harley-Davidson’s® first overhead valve V-Twin engine, a
configuration that would remain the Motor Company’s
trademark to this day.

When the best of Harley's heritage gets a
modern makeover, a living legend is forged. The sensational
features of the real deal are captured, from the incredibly
detailed engine to the classic horseshoe oil tank, brake and
clutch cables. The seat is complemented by saddlebags and
leather fringe. Hand-assembled in 1:10 scale, and
hand-painted in an authentic Harley-Davidson® paint scheme.
Climb onboard for the ride of a lifetime!
The Harley-Davidson® Heritage Springer® is a perfect example
of what Harley-Davidson® produces that makes those who ride
Harley-Davidson® motorcycles such loyal enthusiasts. The
Heritage Springer® is a perfect balance of classic styling
with state-of-the-art technology. For when one first sees
the Heritage Springer®, one is immediately struck by its
ageless design. With its chrome springer front-end, the
bullet-shaped headlight, the classic high bars and the long,
low profile, the Heritage Springer® looks as if it could
have been styled five decades ago. And there is much truth
to that impression, for the Heritage Springer® is inspired
by the classic 1948 Panhead-a legendary model in the annals
of motorcycle history.
And yet this bike is anything but a re-creation... it's a
thoroughly modern motorcycle. The 1340cc Evolution® engine
is one of the smoothest that Harley-Davidson® offers; the
high contact-ratio transmission gears provide a quieter ride
and the design - while reflecting the style of the past-is
ergonomically thought out so that riding the Heritage
Springer® is a happy marriage of power, smoothness and speed
- and not a small smattering of style!
Now, the handsome and powerful Harley-Davidson® Heritage
Springer® is re-created in an exciting die-cast replica from
Franklin Mint Precision Models. Precision-engineered in 1:10
scale and crafted in authentic detail from more than 125
separate components - from the incredibly detailed OHV V2®
Evolution® engine to the full-floating fenders... from the
classic horseshoe oil tank to the brake and clutch cables -
the Harley-Davidson® Heritage Springer® is a fitting tribute
to the Harley-Davidson® legacy of state-of-the-art
technology and engineering, coupled with a rich and classic
tradition of motorcycle styling. It is a die-cast
re-creation that you will take great pride in displaying and
are certain to treasure for many years to come.

life in the definitive die-cast model of the
Harley-Davidson® Road King® Classic. Meticulously assembled

Harley-Davidson® image of independence with its tradition
for custom styling. You can see every detail -- from the
chrome-and-black fuel-injected Twin Cam 88™ engine to the
laced wheels and slant-cut mufflers, from the giant chrome
headlight to the opening saddlebags. Working features
include operable steering, spinning wheels, functional
suspension, brake and gearshift pedals -- even a kickstand
that holds the bike in place. Hand-painted in authentic
Harley-Davidson® colors -- Aztec Orange and Diamond Ice --
it comes fully assembled and ready to display.
This precision-engineered replica of the great American
touring bike with the heart of a street cruiser was
assembled by hand in 1:10 scale from more than 195 parts,
hand-painted, hand-polished and accented in chrome-plate. it
is loaded with true-to-life operating features and is
incredibly detailed, down to a scale-size rider's helmet. It
features special collector's packaging.
One of the characteristics of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles
that appeals so much to riders is the ability to combine the
best of Harley-Davidson tradition with the newest design
innovations. In other words, Harley-Davidson® motorcycles
are built with respect and understanding of the past and a
dedication to tomorrow's technology and engineering.
An example of this philosophy is the Harley-Davidson®
FLHRCI™ Road King® Classic. The ultimate cruiser, the Road
King® emulates the style of its predecessors and sets the
standard for its heirs. The cruiser is powered by the huge
Twin Cam 88™ engine, which rides in elastomer isolation
mounts that eliminate vibrations. Before Harley-Davidson
introduced the Twin Cam 88™ to the public, it tested the
engine on over two-and-a-half million miles of road. And the
judgment was that the Twin Cam 88™ offered a quieter,
smoother ride while providing high performance and
maneuverability. This comfort is further enhanced by an
anti-dive fork and air-adjustable suspension.
Yet it is not only the new engine that separates the Road
King® Classic from other cruisers. The all-out style of the
Road King® is truly "Classic." Gorgeous saddlebags are made
by stretching durable plastic over hard-shell compartments,
enhancing both accessibility and durability. The tooled
design of the saddlebag is repeated on the custom seat.
Enhancing the stylish black-and-chrome color scheme of the
engine is a range of eight available finishes, including
four two-tone finishes. A custom 3D metal emblem was also
designed especially for the Road King® Classic and appears
on the fender tip, tank and seat valance. The laced wheels
add to the overall style.
With dual exhausts, a wheelbase of 63.5 inches and overall
length of 93.7 inches, commodious saddlebags and
unparalleled power and comfort, the Road King® Classic truly
defines the modern touring bike, offering bikers a ride
they'll never forget.
Now, in honor of the future of touring motorcycles, comes a
precision-engineered replica from Franklin Mint Precision
Models. The Harley-Davidson® Road King® Classic is crafted
in authentic detail––a true masterpiece. Your
Harley-Davidson® Road King® Classic captures the excitement
of this magnificent motorcycle and is certain to be admired
by all who see it.
