aircraft formed their formations around. So that they could be easily recognized
by the other aircraft, assembly ships were painted bright, at times gaudy,
colors like the B-24J Liberator re-created in this spectacular model. Captured
to perfection in 1:48 scale, this thoroughly detailed model is hand-painted in
the highly distinctive paint scheme used by the U.S.A.A.F. 458th Bomber Group.
